Re-live the days of the past with this amazing instrument. Built in the 1960’s to 70’s tradition of Cave Optical, Edmund Scientific Co., Star Liner, and The Optical Craftsman the American Classic Series instruments are solidly built and great performers.

We have made a number of improvements to our telescopes superior to those instruments made by the famous companies of the past which promise to enhance your viewing experience. Starting at the heart of the telescope is fine hand corrected boro-silicate primary mirror, which is 0.80 thick for quick cool down, with a highly reflective aluminum coating. The mirror cell has been designed with PLOP and is a nine point flotation design CNC machine cut and has a high intensity fan for air distribution. The tube is made from aluminum, with special flocking and comes in the following colors – sky blue, sea green, instrument gray or polar white.

The telescope is also equipped with a heavy duty Crawford focuser and a ridged spider for the secondary support. The robust assembly is ideal for transportation to a dark sky site where rugged construction and high quality optics will bring out the best in your observing experience.
